Christopher T. Marquet
Mr. Marquet is the founder and CEO of Marquet International Ltd. and has more than a quarter of a century of professional experience in the investigative, litigation support, business intelligence, and security consulting industry. Mr. Marquet’s extensive experience includes servicing a broad range of industry sectors and clients, including public and private corporations, financial institutions, law firms, governments and high profile individuals.
From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Marquet was a founding principal of Citigate Global Intelligence, where, as a member of the company’s executive committee, he was responsible for the firm’s overall business development as well as delivering to clients in the Northeast all major service lines of the firm including business intelligence, business investigations and business controls consulting. He subsequently worked for Decision Strategies/Vance International as a senior executive in their consulting and investigations practice until he started Marquet International at the beginning of 2006.
Prior to Citigate, Mr. Marquet spent 19 years at Kroll Associates in a variety of operational and senior management positions, most recently as Senior Managing Director and head of Kroll’s operations in the Northeast region. He also served as Senior Managing Director and leader of worldwide business development for Kroll, based in its New York City headquarters.
Mr. Marquet also served as Managing Director and head of Kroll's online global risk assessment division and President of Kroll Travel Security Services, Inc. He helped create and launch innovative online and print publications covering travel security issues. Named the youngest Managing Director in that firm's history in 1993, Mr. Marquet was a senior member of the international division responsible for managing key strategic relationships. During this period, he was intimately involved in the firm's highly publicized engagements on behalf of the Russian and Brazilian governments, as well as numerous other sensitive international investigations.
During his lengthy career, Mr. Marquet has been involved in thousands of business intelligence, investigative, litigation support, and security consulting projects around the world. These matters have been diverse and include due diligence; general litigation support; investigations into intellectual property theft, environmental disputes, fraud, workplace violence, and employee misconduct; hostile takeovers and proxy battles; competitive intelligence, corporate security; executive protection; crisis management and insurance disputes.

Mr. Marquet is or has beeen a member of many professional associations, including the Massachusetts Bar Association (non-lawyer member), the Licensed Private Detective Association of Massachusetts, the American Society for Industrial Security, the Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals, The Association for Corporate Growth, the Society for Human Resource Management and the Risk & Insurance Management Society. He received an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College in 1983, with a triple major in Physics, Economics, and Philosophy.

Emanuel (Manny) Bartolotta
Senior Investigative Consultant
Mr. Bartolotta, resident in New York, has over 40 years of experience in law enforcement and investigative services. He previously served as Senior Investigator for Forensic Investigative Associates, Citigate Global Intelligence and Kroll Associates, all based in New York City.
Mr. Bartolotta was previously employed as a Detective Investigator for the Suffolk County District Attorneys office where he was involved in all phases of criminal investigations. Mr. Bartolotta joined the Public Investigations Services, Inc. as a Field Investigations Supervisor. In this position he conducted, supervised, and coordinated investigations involving insurance fraud, surveillance, confidential internal investigations, loss prevention and undercover operations. He started his investigative career as a Detective assigned to the Kings County (Brooklyn) District Attorneys office squad where he conducted investigations involving white collar crime, organized crime, and a wide variety of other criminal matters.
Mr. Bartolotta holds a B.S. degree in Behavioral Sciences from the New York Institute of Technology, graduating with honors.
Henry DiCarlo, CPP
Senior Security Consultant
Mr. DiCarlo, resident in Boston, has over 30 years of diverse experience in all facets of organizational security, safety, claims administration, investigations, loss prevention, training, and risk management. Mr. DiCarlo gained his extensive experience in security and loss prevention serving a range of retail and apparel industry sectors and clients.
Mr. DiCarlo has served as the head of corporate security for both New Balance Shoes and Stride Rite Corporation. He has also served as a security and training professional with the Massachusetts Safety Council, Filenes, Northeast Apparel, Foxmoor Casuals and First Security Services during his lengthy career. He has been responsible for developing comprehensive loss prevention programs, including policies, procedures and training for such areas as workplace violence prevention, C-TPAT compliance, training, crisis management, asset protection, security awareness training, OSHA compliance, international workplace safety and security, and insurance claim management and investigations.
Mr. DiCarlo is in the process of obtaining his Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts. He has a Masters degree in Management from Cambridge College as well as B.S. and A.S. degrees in Private Security from Northeastern University. He is a member of numerous industry associations, including the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), the International Cargo Security Council (ICSC), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) as well as a past board member for the Massachusetts Safety Council and longtime Vice Chairman of the Health Care Services Board, Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents.
Peter M. MacVean
Senior Investigative & Security Consultant
Mr. MacVean, resident in Washington DC/Northern Virginia, has over 40 years of experience in security, investigations, business controls consulting and law enforcement. He previously served as Managing Director for Citigate Global Intelligence and was a consultant for Kroll Associates. Mr. MacVean was also the founder of PK Associates LLC, a security and investigations concern based in Northern Virginia.
Mr. MacVean has worked on numerous investigations and consulted on security matters involving public and private companies throughout the world. He has directed complex, long-term, internal and external investigations and worked as a security consultant for many firms with both national and international clientele. Mr. MacVean has also assisted in the management of a brand integrity program for a Fortune 100 company. He was responsible for establishing standards of physical, personnel, and information security currently in use by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Mr. MacVean was with the DEA for more than twenty-six years. At the time of his retirement, he was the Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge of the New Orleans Field Division. In this capacity, he commanded an enforcement division that was responsible for the investigation of complex criminal conspiracies within a four-state area adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico. For more than five years of his career, Mr. MacVean was DEAs Director of Security Programs, during which time his responsibilities included the management of security of more than 250 facilities around the world, the clearances and safety of over 10,000 employees, and the protection of DEAs most sensitive information.
Mr. MacVean has lectured to U.S. Intelligence agencies and has taught at numerous government schools in the U.S. and Latin America on matters of security. He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of technical investigative methods and has testified in civil and criminal matters at both the State and Federal levels.
